Finding Internet Jobs that Earn You Money from Home

by admin on November 14, 2008

Have you lost your job and want to look for another? Or you just want to earn extra money to supplement the present income? Or you’re a stay-at-home mom or dad who wants to earn money after doing the house chores and taking care of the kids?

The internet is a good place to look for jobs. All you need to have is a computer with a relatively fast internet connection. You don’t have to use gas or don’t have to commute since you won’t be leaving home to work.

You’ll be able to work around your household routine. Get a stab at your internet duties during daytime while the kids are at school or having an afternoon nap. Or start working during nighttime, after the dinner dishes are done and the whole family is settled in front of the television set.

But you won’t have insurance and other fringe benefits that regular workers have because you’re a freelancer worker.

Despite the popularity of internet use worldwide, most people still cannot believe that there are earning opportunities online. Aside from making money through Google Adsense, which still mystifies the general public despite the many articles read about it, there are real jobs that you can get hired to perform certain tasks while inside your home and get paid after the project is done.

The payment procedure is another mystery that may hinder you to try working on internet jobs. There are different payment methods available for online transactions: wire transfer, electronic transfer, bank transfer, and debit card. You can also ask for a check sent to you.

Here are some of those websites that offer free registration and a variety of freelance job vacancies:

1.    www.odesk.com
2.    www.getafreelancer.com
3.    www.scriptlancer.com
4.    www.guru.com

There are a lot of websites that have lots of online jobs posted but only 4 websites are on use and on exploration process. ‘On use’ means ‘currently hired and getting paid.’ ‘Exploration process’ means ‘still job hunting.’

To avoid confusion, choose to register on one website at a time. Give each one at least 2 weeks of exploration. These websites are basically the same so when you get to know one, there’s a big chance that you won’t be getting lost in other sites.

The number one on the list is oDesk.com. The next blog shows how to get around this website.
