According to RealNetworks survey findings, it is claimed that those who play video games casually can get out of bad habits more easily. More than 200 million gamers across the globe engage themselves in gaming every month. These fun based and interactive computer games provide them a better way to relieve stress than smoking.
The survey was conducted on more than 4,000 gamers across the US. These casual gamers were all aged between 35 and 60 years. Female gamers consisted of 84% while 75% were the men.
Smokers who were surveyed stated that they feel a positive energy and distraction by engaging themselves in games. 42% of approximately 1000 smokers surveyed have confirmed that they prefer a game than a smoke to release tension and relax. They think that they can reduce smoking to a great extent only by playing games. It is considered as an effective way to curb smoking habit. You can even try this method if you are a smoker. Play some casual games during the weekdays after work and see if you are able to reduce the stress level.
